Flaxseed Citrus Cocktail for Good Morning!

Need energy “kick” and additionally “overclock” metabolism to work at full speed in the morning?

Drink a cocktail from citrus with the addition of flaxseed, and I guarantee you the body will be fully happy 🙂

Cocktail is a great way to start a detox day and always when we feel “hard” and have a problem with regular bowel movement.

The cocktail is so filling (thanks to the addition of ground flexseed) that it can “replace” the breakfast the day we want to give a little respite to our digestive system. It perfectly regenerates and moisturizes the mucosa of the stomach and intestines.

The addition of citrus (grapefruit and orange) is an additional portion of dietary fiber, which cleanses thoroughly and “replaces” unnecessary food residues.

Flaxseed Citrus Cocktail for Good Morning!

Servings: 1
  • Freshly squeezed juice of 1 grapefruit
  • Freshly squeezed juice of 1 orange
  • 1 tbsp of freshly ground flaxseed
  1. Squeeze the grapefruit and orange juice (leave also the pulp - an extra portion of the fiber!) Add freshly ground flaxseed and mix the ingredients in the blender.

  2. We serve immediately after preparation.


Good to know:

The coktail can “break up” and appear muddy, but do not worry about it because it is a natural reaction of the “swelling” of the flaxseed.

Grapefruit and oranges are part of the cooling food and are especially recommended for warm and hot days. They regulate digestion and thanks to natural bioflavonoids and vitamin C help with cleansing and detoxification.
